Shruti Hassan might look good, but her acting (or lack of it, as some would say) was getting her nowhere. She was nicknamed “stone face” and other such cruel names which were becoming instrumental in her not getting new roles. In fact, the truth was, she was really new in the industry and did not know much about the language, expression and the way to act. However, her turning point came in Tollywood when she was cast opposite Pawan Kalyan for the remake of the film Dabangg which made her famous virtually overnight.
