No Theater Release for Vishwaroopam?
Kamal Hassan’s movie Vishwaroopam is not going to have an official theatrical release. In a recent update it has been noted that the movie was in controversy for a while thanks to Kamal’s decision of releasing it in DTH, and now it looks like the movie is not going to be releasing in the theaters of Tamil Nadu as theater owners have boycotted it. Dabangg 2 Box Office to touch 200 Crores
Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 had a lot of expectations around it, and the film is living up to them quite splendidly. Dabangg 2 at present has garnered around 150-odd crores at the box office within the end of the second week, and the film is expected to do even better in the third and fourth week. At the domestic box office, it has already beaten the records made by Jab Tak Hai Jaan which was released earlier in 2012. Sevakudu Movie Review
The issue with Sevakudu is that the film applies a formula which has been done to the death for the last few decades. The story of an honest cop and his disinterested son is nothing new, and yes, boringly predictable. You would see a basically disinterested hero suddenly turning vigilant after his father’s death. Sounds familiar? It is quite common a story, and what will also lessen the appeal is the way the film is focused on certain aspects while ignoring other points.
