The Kerala Film Producers' Association has imposed a ban on noted South Indian actress Nithya Menen from acting in Malayalam movies for not meeting producers who had gone to meet her on the sets of a film.
As per reports, the actress was not banned officially but the Malayalam film producers have decided not to cast her in future projects. The Malayalam film producers also requested the South film chamber to ban her from South Indian films. Apart from Malayalam, she is acting in Tamil and Telugu movies.
Meanwhile, Nithya has sent a complaint to the Actors' Association AMMA regarding the ban. She said that the producers came to meet her without informing her earlier.
