“Item songs are not good for Society”, says Rahul Bose:

Actor, social worker and an ex rugby player, Rahul Bose is an ardent believer of movies with substance rather than films filled in with ‘running around the tree’ songs. In a recent interview, Rahul expressed his views about the uselessness of item songs and the ill effect it produces in the psyche of people in the society. Rahul said that including an item song in between a picture with scantily dressed actresses is a sign of the director’s failure and it means that there is no other way left for him to draw in crowds.
