Resul Pookutty Makes His Move to Mollywood

He is an Oscar winning sound mixer and top notch sound engineer and the writer of a book which has inspired many, and now Resul Pookutty would be seen in a movie. The first film where Resul would be seen in front of the camera rather than behind it, is the Malayalam movie Sneham plus Ishtam equals Amma, where he would be seen in a cameo role. The movie has been directed by prolific documentary filmmaker Jayachandran Ayalara, who is making his move into popular moviemaking.

The film also has got Chitra coming back to the films after a long time. She is the singer of many famous songs like 'yeh haseen waadiyaan' from Roja. It also has got popular filmmaker and actress Revathi donning a key role in the movie. Shahin would be playing the role of her son, and it would have Namitha Prasad and Vandana in it. Namitha Prasad was seen previously in Traffic, while Vandana was seen in Happy Husbands. Besides, the film also has Keerthana in it. She was seen in the Munch Star Singer Junior which featured on the Asianet channel.


The film was launched recently and the shooting of the film would begin soon.
